^{Linda /2006 The work 'Linda' is a Installation of  a   series of photographs  of  Sara Blokland's sister Linda who was a popidol in the early 90's. Linda is a work in which image, presentation and personal reality are interwoven and ordered in a new manner.'Linda' is a collection of photographic images , partly made up of existing photographs  from lifestyle-and popmagazines as well as promotion material ,but also images which seem to be personal but were taken on request of her fans. The other part of the collection consists of earlier as well as more current photographs which are made by Sara Blokland.'Linda' is a research on the photographic portrait.'Linda exists in all of her appearances and presentations but not in a single authentic portrait.'Linda' does not show any family snapshots but most of all what's public, balancing between image and personal reality.}
